Introduction & Scope

PETBIZS respects the privacy of its website visitors, directory users, business representatives, contributors, advertisers, and industry partners. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and the choices available to you.

This policy applies whenever you visit petbizs.com (the “Website”), create an account, submit a business listing, request a service, publish content, join our newsletter, attend or express interest in a PETBIZS event, contact our team, apply for a role with us, or interact with advertisements on our platform. It applies to visitors, registered users, business owners and representatives, contributors, interview subjects, advertisers, and industry partners alike.

The Website is owned and operated by PETBIZS LLC, a limited liability company headquartered in Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA (the “Head Office”), together with its Pakistan based affiliate PETBIZS SMC (Private) Limited, which originally established the PETBIZS corporate structure and operates as its Regional Office (together, “PETBIZS,” “the Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). PETBIZS LLC is the contracting party under our Terms of Service and the entity responsible for this Privacy Policy; PETBIZS SMC (Private) Limited supports PETBIZS’s operations from Pakistan and may process information on the Company’s behalf.

This Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service. By accessing or using the Website, you agree to both documents. Terms not defined in this policy carry the meaning given to them in our Terms of Service.

Before you read this Privacy Policy, it is best to read these two components to understand our policy better.

The Public Nature of PETBIZS

Directory listings, founder interviews, business profiles, product introductions, event pages, and articles are published for public visibility, not private use. Information submitted for these purposes should be expected to appear on the Website, be indexed by search engines, and be viewed, shared, or republished by third parties outside our control.

Published content may continue to circulate after removal from the Website, through search engine caches, archived pages, or third party republication. We will take reasonable steps to update or remove published information on request, as described in Section 10, but cannot guarantee removal from sources outside our platform. Submitting User Content for a directory listing, interview, or similar public facing feature is treated as a request to publish it, separate from any consent required elsewhere in this policy, and is subject to the license you grant us under our Terms of Service.

The Structural Nature of PETBIZS

PETBIZS is an integrated pet industry platform, not a single service. It operates through several connected components: a business directory, editorial content such as founder interviews and business profiles, an Events and Expos section, Premium Profile and other promotional packages, advertising placements, and a newsletter with community features, as further described in our Terms of Service.

These components share a common infrastructure and are operated by the entities named in Section 1. Information collected through one component may support another, for example, a directory submission informing an editorial interview or a Premium Profile placement, consistent with the purposes in Section 6. This policy addresses any component with materially different handling separately.

  • Business transfers: if PETBIZS is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy or a comparable one.
  • Legal and safety reasons: we may disclose information where required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of PETBIZS, our users, or the public.
  • With your consent: we may disclose information for any other purpose with your explicit consent.
  •

7. Consent and Your Choices

Using PETBIZS does not automatically mean you consent to every form of data processing described in this policy.
