Interpets Osaka is an international pet industry fair in Osaka that combines B2B trade with a public pet event. The fair brings pet food, supplies, services, technology, and new lifestyle ideas together for Western Japan.
The Japan Pet Food Association, Japan Pet Products Manufacturers Association, and Messe Frankfurt Japan Ltd organize the event. It launched in 2023 as the Western Japan edition of Interpets, which began in Tokyo in 2011. Therefore, the Osaka show extends an established Japanese pet industry platform into the Kansai market.
Exhibitors cover pet food, treats, accessories, grooming, healthcare, veterinary care, pet technology, insurance, training, travel, and disaster supplies. Meanwhile, retailers, groomers, manufacturers, wholesalers, veterinarians, importers, breeders, trainers, pet hotels, media, and other industry professionals form its trade audience. Public visitors also attend during the consumer days.
Beyond business meetings, Interpets Osaka highlights specialist areas that reflect changing pet needs. These include Pet Tech, disaster prevention, Intercats, healthcare, grooming, and products for birds and small animals. The event takes place at INTEX Osaka and typically runs in June.
