Petinder transforms pet adoption and shelter support into a compassionate, tech-driven ecosystem for animal welfare. Once vague processes now gain accountability—thanks to Petinder.
Driven by his passion for animal welfare and digital innovation, Meelis Paloson, a vibrant Estonian entrepreneur, founded Petinder in 2022.
His vision was to create a multi-functional digital ecosystem that could strengthen adoption services, increase shelter visibility, and reduce animal abandonment. Guided by this belief, today, Petinder has grown into a platform that redefines the pet adoption and shelter support landscape.
Building on this foundation, Petinder has expanded far beyond a simple adoption tool. At its core, it functions as a search engine, allowing users to find shelters, sanctuaries, pet-friendly hotels, taxis, beaches, dog walkers, shops, and even relaxation treatments.
This seamless access not only connects people to trusted services but also makes adoption more approachable by linking them directly to animals in need of homes.
Key Differential
To support these connections, Petinder relies on a four-pillar structure: a marketplace that brings together services, an academy that delivers learning resources (coming in Q1 2026), a community hub that fosters engagement, and a CRM module (Q1 2026) designed to help shelters to digitalize their pets management.
Through this model, shelters and service providers could operate more effectively, building stronger connections. while adopters would have greater clarity and transparency.
With every feature working in sync, Petinder today stands as a digital adoption ecosystem that unites advanced tools with community-driven engagement. It continues to support shelters, inspire adopters, and move the pet industry closer to a future where adoption is the first choice.
New Exciting Features for Q1 2026
There’s a completely new version of Petinder coming up in Q1 2026 with many new exciting features. For example, there would be biometric recognition for cats & dogs. With this, the platform will help prevent poor animals from ending up in a shelter, making it even easier and faster to return a lost pet to its home.
Join Petinder and connect with shelters, find trusted services, and give every animal the home they deserve.
