The Pets Canada Industry Show in Drummondville brings pet product manufacturers, distributors and retailers to Centrexpo Promutuel Assurance in Quebec for two days of buying, networking and product discovery, and the 2026 edition runs September 20-21.
Pets Canada, formerly known as PIJAC Canada, organizes the event. The association is a national non-profit that has represented the Canadian pet industry since 1988. The Drummondville show debuted more than two decades ago and has grown steadily, and it now serves as a direct route into the Quebec pet market. Because of this history, it holds a distinct place on the Canadian trade calendar rather than functioning as just another regional expo.
The show serves two connected groups. Pet retailers, groomers and distributors make up the buying side, arriving to source new products and meet suppliers face to face. Meanwhile, exhibitors are Canadian pet product manufacturers, suppliers and distributors who use the floor to reach those buyers and to meet existing clients.
Beyond the exhibition floor, the show includes seminars and special events, and visitors can browse the exhibitor list, plan their route with the show map and vote in the Pets Canada Community awards. Official show hotels also offer discounted rates. As a result, attendees can prepare before they arrive and spend their time on the floor with the suppliers that matter most to their business.
For anyone building a pet business, that distinction matters. The show is trade-only, so exhibitors reach qualified buyers rather than casual visitors, and with exhibitor space for 2026 already sold out, the floor is full of active suppliers.
